“Coaching gave me a new sense of peace, freedom and inner strength unlike I had experienced before.
I thought I would never be able to tackle all the individual issues, when actually the biggest issue at hand was ME. Yes, lots of things had been done TO ME but I had allowed some of these things to happen and I no longer wanted to be defined by them, how could I become this person that I had in my head, whom I visualised, but was always there. That person – that incredible person that we all look at and wish we were – well now I look at myself and say I’m glad I’m me, a true, authentic me, which is still fallible, but true to herself.
I wanted to become this person that was at peace with who she was and realise and understand what I was truly capable of, throughout the process of coaching with Charlotte it has opened up an exponential world of possibilities, the belief that I can and I will, a different mind set, that, when deployed, makes the most daunting of tasks seem like simple steps, a step onto the next and the next and the next.
When I first started coaching I was a divorced mum of two, running a household and holding down a full-time job. Prior to this I had spent two years of hard work mopping up a marriage break up, continual personal traumas and I needed to put that behind me. I needed to re-discover myself to do things differently, as if I carried on doing what I always had, I was going to get what I always got - the fear of which meant I was committed to changing things for good.
Coaching with Charlotte completely adapted and changed my mind set and demonstrated so clearly how small steps and changes lead to endless possibilities. It gave me a new sense of peace, freedom and inner strength unlike I had experienced before.
The value coaching has given me is priceless and I’ve only just got started. It has given me the greatest gift of me, the example and hope I can be to my children, friends and family, but most importantly, me.
